i just had a look on myspace and it seems like gobblynne made a bullitin post yesterday with a bit of information about a website called www.imaginanimation.net and a link, it looks really useful, there is a bit for news and information about jobs... a bit of everything you want to see really. its basically a rather big network of animators...i think i'll join

a great source of eye candy in terms of graphic novels and comic books, but it doesn't end there on saturday the 27th of october they had a workshop on comic book creation.. i actually missed it because i couldn't get out of work (bums) but a friend went and is gonna try and teach me. i know its second hand information but its still gonna be useful.

hopefully i'll manage to get on another workshop sometime soon, i'll just have to keep an eye out for upcoming information.

David Shrigly

After a crit just before reading week i was advised by mike to go have a look in the leeds art museum because of an animation by David Shrigly. a really good one..
theres a whole exhibit on cult fictions comics and illustration. the animation was just alittle bit of it. The whole thing was an inspiration, to look at so many illustrations and styles was amazing. exactly the kind of thing i like.

Gobblynne animation

Through myspace i've found an illustrator/animator who uses after effects pretty heavily in her work and has a similar style to myself i guess. after talking with her alittle bit it seems she's quite willing to help me out when she isnt busy. score.
i was pointed in the direction of creative cow for tutorials and such and it seems pretty helpful.

hi, this blog is for my research and findings in relation to the DDM project, 'Personal development'
